Not every hitter wants to feel the end of the bat. Some want to feel the whole thing, get it through the zone fast, and put the barrel on the ball wherever the pitch happens to be. Victus built the 2026 NOX No-No for that hitter! It's the balanced bat in the NOX family, with no added end weight at all, and Victus paired that balance with the longest barrel in the lineup: a full 13.25 inches, half an inch longer than the Ya-Ya and three quarters of an inch longer than the Big-Boy. That combination is the point! A balanced swing weight keeps your hands quick and your barrel under control, and a 13.25 inch hitting surface means that when your timing is a hair early or a hair late, the ball still finds barrel. It is the NOX for the gap hitter, the all-fields hitter, and the power hitter who gets his distance from bat speed rather than mass. Red and white NOX graphics on black, and it looks every bit as aggressive as its loaded siblings.

The build is the same two-piece platform that makes the rest of the NOX line feel the way it does. Victus' CompStax 2 layering system is engineered specifically for two-piece composite construction, tuning the barrel's stiffness and responsiveness together so the sweet spot stays hot and consistent across a full season, and on a 13.25 inch barrel that consistency stretches across a lot of real estate. Dynamic Handle Tech is the other half of the equation: Victus' high flex handle bends independently through the swing to build whip and add barrel speed, then absorbs the vibration on mishits so contact off the end or off the hands never turns into a sting. On a balanced bat, that handle whip is where the power comes from. You're not carrying a load out to the ball, you're accelerating a long barrel through the zone with a handle that helps. Available in 25, 26, and 27 ounces, certified for USSSA, NSA, and ISA, and backed by Victus' one year warranty.

Balanced bats don't get the hype that end-loaded bats do, and a lot of hitters who would be better off in a No-No end up in a Ya-Ya because that's what the guy next to them is swinging. That's the kind of mistake LongballBats.com exists to prevent. We've been the Bat Performance Experts since 2016, our staff carries more than 100 years of combined baseball and softball experience, and we carry every NOX configuration, so we can tell you honestly whether your swing wants a balanced 13.25 inch barrel or an end load. Tell us how you hit, what you swing now, and where the ball tends to go, and we'll give you a straight answer. The right bat is the one that fits your swing, not the one with the scariest name!

QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a Heat Rolled bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process!

QUESTION: Does a balanced bat mean less power?
ANSWER: Not for most hitters. Distance in slowpitch comes from bat speed and where you hit the ball far more than from a few extra grams at the end of the barrel. A balanced bat like the No-No lets you swing faster and control the barrel better, and for a hitter who finds the sweet spot consistently, that produces the same or better distance than an end load with less effort. End-loaded bats help the hitter who already has elite bat speed and wants more mass behind it. Balanced bats help everyone else! If you've ever felt like an end-loaded bat was swinging you instead of the other way around, the No-No will feel like coming home.

QUESTION: Why does the balanced NOX get the longest barrel?
ANSWER: Because balance and barrel length work together. Adding barrel length to an end-loaded bat makes it feel even heavier out front, which is why Victus keeps the Ya-Ya at 12.75 inches and trims the Big-Boy to 12.5. On a balanced bat there is no end load to fight, so Victus can stretch the barrel to 13.25 inches without the swing getting slow. The hitter gets a bigger hitting surface and the same quick, controllable feel. That extra half inch matters most on pitches at the edges of the zone and on swings where your timing is slightly off, which is exactly where a contact hitter earns his living.

QUESTION: Is the NOX No-No a good first USSSA bat?
ANSWER: It's one of the best in the NOX lineup for that job. A hitter coming into USSSA play from a rec league or from USA/ASA ball is usually used to a balanced bat, and the No-No lets them keep the swing they already have while stepping up to a USSSA-certified barrel. The 13.25 inch barrel is forgiving while they adjust to the higher performance, the two-piece build keeps mishits comfortable, and the 25, 26, and 27 ounce options let a new player start light and move up. If you later decide you want an end load, the Ya-Ya two-piece shares the same construction and will feel familiar in the hands.
