This is the heaviest drop in the Hype Fire USA lineup, built for the 12 and 13 year old who is still playing under a USA stamp but is already swinging like a high schooler. Under the Pyro Peach colorway is Easton's patented 3D Ropecoil Composite barrel, and it's worth understanding what that means: Easton wraps a three-dimensional composite rope 360 degrees around the center of the barrel, right at the sweet spot, and tunes the surrounding wall thickness out toward the taper and end cap. The payoff is a max performance zone that runs the length of the barrel instead of living in a three inch window. QUESTION: Which leagues and divisions is the Hype Fire -5 USA legal in?
ANSWER: The EUS7HYP5 carries the USA Baseball certification stamp, which makes it legal in Little League Majors, Intermediate 50/70, and Junior League, along with Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, PONY, Dixie Youth, and most other rec leagues that follow the USA Bat standard. That makes it a strong fit for the 12 and 13 year old who has moved up to the bigger field but is not yet in a BBCOR division. USA bats are also accepted at many USSSA events, though not at USSSA 14U national events, which require BBCOR. It is not BBCOR certified, so it cannot be used in high school games. Always confirm your league's bat rules before buying.
