The 2025 Monsta SB-2 APS USA/ASA Slowpitch Softball Bat features an 11-inch barrel, Mid Load swing weighting, and two-piece composite construction, creating a compact swing profile with a firm, controlled feel through contact.
Part of Monsta’s APS (Advanced Player Series), the SB-2 uses a shorter 11" barrel compared to Monsta’s more traditional 12.5" designs. The compact barrel provides a concentrated hitting surface, while the Mid Load weighting keeps the swing profile controlled without the heavier feel of a pronounced endload.
A 5000-stiffness composite handle provides a rigid connection between the hands and barrel, limiting excess flex while maintaining the smoother feel of a two-piece construction.
The SB-2 APS is designed specifically for use with USA/ASA-certified 52/300 and 52/275 compression softballs and is available in 25 oz and 26 oz configurations.
