Every young hitter deserves a bat that sounds like it means it! The 2027 DeMarini Exile -11 USA is built to make some noise in the box, and DeMarini built it the same way it builds the Exile BBCOR that high school hitters have been swinging: stiff one-piece alloy, a massive barrel profile, and a lightweight end cap that lets the barrel rip through the zone. The -11 drop and the 26 through 31 inch size run put that build in the hands of 6 to 12 year olds who need bat speed and control more than anything else, and the orange and black colorway with red graffiti lettering and outlaw cowboy artwork makes sure nobody mistakes it for a hand-me-down. If your player has been swinging a bat that feels like a wet noodle, the Exile is the cure.

The Exile's personality comes from its X14 Alloy Barrel. DeMarini designed it with a big profile that distributes weight across the full length of the one-piece construction, which does two things for a young hitter: it keeps the swing balanced instead of barrel-heavy, and it keeps the hitting surface responsive from the sweet spot out toward the end cap. The one-piece alloy build is stiff on purpose, because stiffness means maximum energy transfer into the ball and an ultra-responsive feel that tells a developing hitter exactly where the ball met the barrel. That feedback is how kids get better. Up top, DeMarini's Tracer End Cap is made from lightweight composite materials that trim weight from the end of the bat, so the hitter gets more swing speed without giving up barrel performance. The 2-5/8 inch barrel is the maximum allowed in USA Baseball, and the whole package is certified for every league that requires the USA stamp. One year DeMarini warranty.

A one-piece alloy is the most reliable bat a young player can own, and the Exile is one of the best of its kind, but the right size still makes or breaks the season. That's what LongballBats.com is here for. We've been the Bat Performance Experts since 2016, our staff carries more than 100 years of combined baseball and softball experience, and we've sized thousands of Little League and rec ball hitters into the right bat. Tell us your player's age, height, and what they're swinging now, and we'll tell you honestly whether the Exile -11 is the right call, which length to buy, and whether they're strong enough to think about another size instead. Right bat, right size, first try.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. QUESTION: What's the difference between the Exile -11 and the Exile -5 USA?
ANSWER: Weight and who they're built for. The -11 is the bat speed bat: six ounces lighter than the -5 at the same length, built for 6 to 12 year olds who need to get the barrel around on live pitching and control it through the zone. The -5 drop is for stronger, more advanced hitters, usually 12 and 13 year olds in Intermediate and Junior League divisions, who want a heavier swing feel and more momentum behind contact. Both share the same one-piece X14 alloy construction and Tracer End Cap, so the move from one to the other feels natural. If your player is still in Majors or below, start with the -11.

QUESTION: Is the Exile USA the same bat as the Exile BBCOR?
ANSWER: Same design philosophy, different rulebook. DeMarini built the Exile USA to mirror its BBCOR counterpart, so both are stiff one-piece alloys with an X14 barrel and a Tracer End Cap, and both are tuned for bat speed with a big, responsive barrel. The USA version is built to the USA Bat standard with a 2-5/8 inch barrel and lighter drops for youth players, while the BBCOR version is a -3 for high school and college. A kid who learns to hit with the Exile USA will find the Exile BBCOR very familiar when the time comes, which is part of the appeal.

QUESTION: Which leagues can my player use the Exile -11 in?
ANSWER: The WBD2719010 carries the USA Baseball certification stamp, which makes it legal in Little League, Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, PONY, Dixie Youth, AABC, NABF, and any other league that follows the USA Bat standard. That covers most rec ball in the country, including coach pitch, machine pitch, Minors, and Majors divisions that use the USA stamp. It is not certified for USSSA 1.15 BPF-only events, and it is not a BBCOR bat. As always, confirm your league's approved bat rules before game day.
