Where the -10 version is aimed at younger players still developing their swing, the -8 is the sweet spot for intermediate and advanced travel ball hitters who have added strength and are ready to generate more force through the zone without giving up bat speed. At the core of the bat is the APX Composite Technology Barrel, which compresses on contact and then flexes to help drive the ball to all parts of the field, paired with a massive 2-3/4" profile that creates an enlarged sweet spot for more consistent contact. The two-piece composite construction channels a player's power through the zone while the barrel and handle work together to amplify performance and reduce hand sting on off-center hits.
The VCX3 Vibration Control Connection System dampens vibration to minimize hand sting while still giving the hitter the tactile feedback they need to make adjustments at the plate. This is one of the more underrated features on the SUPRA, because at the -8 drop level players are making harder contact with more mass behind the swing, and hand sting on mishits becomes a real issue without a quality connection system in place.
