TL;DR Arlis Miller's signature 7AM in a white and gold foil special edition. Two-piece composite, 12 in X25 barrel, one ounce Arlis Load and a stiff Pro Handle. USSSA, NSA and ISA approved, not USA. For strong, fast swingers. 25-27 oz. Add our ProMAX Heat Roll for maximum performance.

Arlis Miller’s signature 7AM already had plenty of fans, and the Gold Edition gives it a look to match! The BoombahPure Arlis Miller 7AM Gold Edition, model M2B0-6224, is a two-piece composite USSSA bat. It has a 12 inch barrel, a one ounce end load Boombah calls the Arlis Load, and a stiff Pro Handle. Boombah built this special edition to celebrate Miller’s First Team All-Conference season and kept everything under the paint the same as the original 7AM. The finish is what sets it apart. The bright white barrel carries metallic gold foil 7AM and Boombah lettering, gold streaks run down the barrel, and a gold taper leads into a clean white grip. If you’d rather have the original look, the standard Boombah Pure Arlis Miller 7AM shares the same specs. Want a different load on a 12 inch barrel? The Boombah Pure RED Nuke and ROYAL BLUE Boom are both worth a look.

Here’s how the build works. The 12 inch barrel gives you a compact, concentrated hitting zone that rewards hitters who square the ball up consistently. The Arlis Load puts a full ounce toward the end of the barrel for strong carry through the zone. Boombah’s Incremental Loading Technology calibrates each bat so its swing weight matches the stated load, which means the 26 you pick up should swing just like the next 26 off the rack. The stiff Pro Handle is made for fast, strong swings. Boombah compares it to an extra-stiff golf shaft, and its rigid profile sends more of your power into the barrel instead of into flex. To keep that stiffness from beating up your hands, a Vibration Dampener is built into the connection between the handle and barrel to cut down sting on mishits. The barrel uses Boombah’s X25 high-modulus carbon technology, which is built for a lively response and consistent pop all season. It measures 2-1/4 inches and was engineered and tested in the USA. The 7AM Gold Edition is certified for USSSA, NSA, and ISA play, and it is not approved for USA Softball (ASA) or SSUSA senior play. It comes in the standard 34 inch length at 25, 26, and 27 ounces, backed by Boombah’s one year warranty.

QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a Heat Rolled bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process!

QUESTION: Is the Gold Edition any different from the regular 7AM?
ANSWER: Only in how it looks. Boombah says the Gold Edition delivers the same performance as the original 7AM, with the same 12 inch barrel, Arlis Load, stiff Pro Handle, Vibration Dampener, and X25 barrel. The difference is the finish. The original 7AM comes in red, white, and light blue. The Gold Edition swaps in a white and metallic gold foil design made to celebrate Arlis Miller’s First Team All-Conference season. Both come in 25, 26, and 27 ounces. If you love the 7AM and want something that stands out in the dugout, go with the Gold Edition. If you’d rather keep it classic, the original swings exactly the same.

QUESTION: How heavy does the Arlis Load swing?
ANSWER: It’s a true end load. Boombah lists the 7AM Gold Edition with a one ounce end load and places the Arlis Load between its Boom Load and Nuke Load. Boombah describes it as a custom feel built for strong carry without giving up swing consistency. In plain terms, you get real momentum through the zone, and on a compact 12 inch barrel that weight stays manageable for hitters with good bat speed. Incremental Loading means every bat at a given weight should swing the same way, so the feel won’t change from one bat to the next. If you’re coming from a balanced or half ounce bat, think about starting an ounce lighter in listed weight.

QUESTION: Who is the stiff Pro Handle built for?
ANSWER: Fast, strong swingers. Boombah designed the Pro Handle for elite players with high bat speed and compares it to an extra-stiff golf shaft. A stiff handle barely bends as you swing, so more of your energy goes straight into the barrel. Hitters with a quick, aggressive swing tend to love that direct, connected feel. Hitters with a smoother, slower swing often do better with some flex in the handle, because that little bit of whip helps the barrel catch up. The Vibration Dampener takes some of the edge off mishits, but this is still a firm bat. If you’re not sure where your swing fits, call us! We’re happy to talk it through.

QUESTION: Where can I use the 7AM Gold Edition?
ANSWER: It’s sanctioned for USSSA, NSA, and ISA play, which covers a lot of weekend tournament and league ball. Boombah built it to USSSA’s 240 standard. It is not approved for USA Softball (ASA), so leagues that play under USA Softball rules won’t allow it. It isn’t a senior bat for SSUSA play either. If your league follows another association’s rules, check its approved bat list before game day. Not sure? Send us your league info, and we’ll help you check!
