The Boombah Sr. is BoombahPure’s senior bat built around feel! The 2026 BoombahPure Boombah Sr., model M7A0-25Boom-6221, is a one-piece composite senior slowpitch bat with a 12.5 inch barrel and Boombah’s SX27 composite barrel technology. Its Mid Load sits between a balanced bat and a traditional end load. It also features Boombah’s thin handle and low-profile knob, wrapped in a ThinTack grip that Boombah says is 30% thinner than its previous stock grip. That adds up to a bat for experienced senior hitters who want barrel control and feedback without giving up power. The look is sharp, too! The black barrel has a smoky gray swirl, with “Boombah Sr.” in big script outlined in fluorescent pink and teal, and “Pure” lettering on the back trimmed in pink. If you also play USSSA, the BoombahPure PureOne gives you a 12.5 inch one-piece in a USSSA build. The BoombahPure Stitched lets you try the Mid Load in a two-piece.
Start with the barrel. Boombah’s SX27 composite technology is designed for a softer feel at contact and a big, lively response. The 12.5 inch length gives you a concentrated sweet spot with a little more room than a 12, which Boombah describes as a balance between forgiveness and concentrated power. The Mid Load puts noticeable weight in the barrel without making the bat feel end heavy. You feel the barrel through the zone, but you can still adjust when a pitch moves on you. The one-piece build keeps the swing direct and connected, with immediate feedback and efficient energy transfer. Then there’s the handle. Boombah slimmed down the handle and lowered the profile of the knob so the bat sits more naturally in your hands. The ThinTack grip adds tack and security without the bulk, and Boombah designed it so you can skip the tacky spray. The Boombah Sr. is built for SSUSA senior play and is not approved for USSSA or USA Softball (ASA) adult play. It comes in the standard 34 inch length at 25, 26, and 27 ounces. Like every BoombahPure senior bat, it’s sold without a manufacturer’s warranty.

QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a Heat Rolled bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process!
QUESTION: What is a Mid Load?
ANSWER: It’s Boombah’s in-between swing weight. A balanced bat spreads the weight evenly for maximum control, and a traditional end load, like Boombah's Vanguard, stacks weight toward the end cap for more momentum. The Mid Load sits between them. Boombah positions the weight so you get noticeable barrel presence without the bat feeling end heavy, which makes it a versatile choice for senior hitters who want to feel the barrel and still adjust mid-swing. If you’ve been swinging a balanced bat and want a little more behind the ball, the Mid Load is worth a look. The same goes if a full end load gets hard to control late in a tournament. Boombah doesn’t publish an ounce figure for it, so think of it as a feel rather than a number.
QUESTION: Why do the thin handle and low-profile knob matter?
ANSWER: It all comes down to how the bat feels in your hands. Boombah reduced the handle diameter so your grip sits more naturally, which helps you feel connected and in control. The low-profile knob trims bulk at the bottom of the handle, so the transition into your bottom hand is smoother. The ThinTack grip finishes it off. Boombah says it’s 30% thinner than its previous stock grip, and it adds tack without adding thickness. It’s designed to work in all weather without tacky spray. If you like a thin handle, or a bat has ever felt too bulky in your hands, you’ll notice the difference right away.
QUESTION: Does the Boombah Sr. come with a warranty?
ANSWER: No. BoombahPure sells all of its senior slowpitch bats without a manufacturer’s warranty. Boombah explains that its senior bats are built with an emphasis on maximum performance and barrel responsiveness, so they fall outside its standard bat warranty. That’s common with senior bats, and it’s worth giving yours a little extra care. Use it only on softballs. Keep it out of cold weather and batting cages, and store it indoors. If you must use it in weather below 60°F, consider our "Pizza Delivery Bag" Dual Bat Warmer Package. Keep it in your own hands, too, instead of passing it around the dugout. If you have questions before you buy, call or email us!
QUESTION: Can I use the Boombah Sr. outside senior play?
ANSWER: It’s a senior bat built for SSUSA play, so it isn’t legal in regular USSSA adult divisions or in USA Softball (ASA) games. If your senior league plays under a different association, check its approved bat list to make sure it accepts SSUSA bats before you buy. Plenty of senior players also play in an open or coed league, and those games usually call for a different bat. If that’s you, the BoombahPure PureOne gives you a 12.5 inch one-piece for USSSA play. If you're not sure, we’re happy to help you sort out which bats fit your schedule, just call us!
