The 2026 Easton Marsh is the USA Softball stamped entry in Easton's new Tyler Marshburn Signature Series, and that name carries weight in this sport. Marshburn is one of the premier power hitters in slowpitch, and signature series bats like this one are built to the hitter's actual preferences rather than reverse-engineered from a marketing plan. What Marshburn asked for is what you get here: a two-piece composite bat with a 12.75-inch barrel, a .5 ounce end load, and a handle and connection package tuned for whip. It carries the USA Softball certification stamp, which makes it legal in ASA sanctioned leagues and tournaments where the tighter USA performance standard applies, and that is exactly the environment this bat was designed to compete in.
The barrel is built around Easton's Cantilever Technology, a carbon fiber composite construction that lets the barrel wall flex more freely at contact and then return that energy to the ball. The practical result is a longer usable sweet spot, so contact that misses the dead center of the barrel by an inch still comes off hot instead of dying at the warning track. The HDK23 carbon fiber in the layup is there for durability as much as performance, which matters in a USA bat because the tighter standard means players tend to keep these bats in play for multiple seasons rather than cycling them out. Behind the barrel, the two-piece design pairs a Flex 140 handle with Easton's CXN MC+ connection piece. The connection does two jobs: it lets the handle load and release independently of the barrel for extra whip through the zone, and it kills the vibration that would otherwise run into your hands on a mishit. Cold morning tournament games are where you will appreciate that most.
The .5 ounce end load is the swing weight sweet spot for a lot of power hitters. It puts real mass behind the barrel without pushing the swing weight into territory where your bat speed starts to suffer, which is the failure mode of a heavier full-ounce load in the wrong hands. More mass at contact means more energy into the ball, provided you can still get the barrel there on time, and a half-ounce load is the compromise that lets most strong hitters have both. The Power Boost Soft Knob rounds out the build with a padded, flared knob shape that cushions the bottom hand and gives you a leverage point to pull against through the finish. The Marsh comes in 25, 26, and 27 ounce weights in the black and yellow Signature Series colorway, and it is backed by Easton's one year warranty.

QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Professionally Broken In?
ANSWER: Brand new baseball and softball bats need to be broken in before they perform to their full potential. Our ProMAX Break-In Service adds 20-40ft of extra distance to your solid hits, improves the durability and longevity of the bat and increases the consistency of your results on solid hits, as well. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a professionally broken in bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process and if you're in a hurry, opt for our "Front of Line" service!
QUESTION: Is this bat legal in USSSA leagues, or just USA Softball?
ANSWER: This model is USA Softball (ASA) stamped only. It is not legal for USSSA sanctioned play, which requires its own certification stamp. Easton builds the Marsh Signature Series for multiple sanctions, so if you play USSSA, look for the USSSA version of the Marsh rather than this one (we offer both the one piece and the two piece versions.) They all look similar at a glance, so check the certification stamp on the barrel before you buy, and be aware that the model numbers differ. If you split time between USA and USSSA leagues, you will need either both versions or a multi-stamp bat, because neither sanction accepts the other's stamp.
QUESTION: What does the two-piece construction with CXN MC+ actually do for me?
ANSWER: Two things, and they matter to different hitters for different reasons. First, the connection piece lets the Flex 140 handle flex and snap back independently of the barrel during the swing, which adds whip and effectively helps the barrel accelerate through the zone. Second, it isolates your hands from barrel vibration, so the jam shots and end-cap contact that would sting badly on a stiff one-piece bat feel muted here. Power hitters who want raw, direct feedback sometimes prefer a one-piece, but for most players, especially in cooler weather or long tournament days, the two-piece feel is easier to live with and does not cost you meaningful performance.
