The 2026 Mizuno CRBN X -8 Fastpitch Softball Bat features a one-piece composite construction, 2 1/4-inch barrel, and -8 length-to-weight ratio, giving stronger fastpitch hitters a direct, connected feel with added overall mass through the swing.
Built with Black Onyx Carbon™ in both the barrel and handle, the CRBN X uses Mizuno’s first one-piece Detonator COR™ design. The barrel also incorporates Paired Barrel Detonator COR™, a double-wall construction engineered to create a larger hitting surface while maintaining the distinctive impact feel and sound of the CRBN X platform.
The one-piece construction eliminates a separate connection piece between the barrel and handle, creating a firmer overall feel through contact. The -8 version is offered in 33"/25 oz and 34"/26 oz configurations and is finished in Mizuno’s Black / Blazing Orange colorway.
The CRBN X is approved for USA Softball, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and WBSC fastpitch play and carries a one-year manufacturer warranty. The exact 340692 model also appears on the current NCAA approved fastpitch bat list.
