The Combat MFG Spec H1 Coastal SND brings the hottest limited-drop brand in baseball to the beach. Part of Combat's surf-inspired Coastal Collective, the Coastal SND (CBB7H1CS3) pairs a sun-bleached, sand-and-surf aesthetic with the two-piece hybrid platform that changed the game for Combat in the BBCOR space. This is a drop 3 (-3) bat with a 2-5/8 inch barrel and full BBCOR .50 certification, making it legal for NFHS high school play, NCAA competition, and all BBCOR sanctioned leagues and tournaments. Combat MFG drops sell out fast and rarely get restocked, so if the Coastal look speaks to you, do not wait on this one.

Under the paint, the Spec H1 is the real deal for hitters who refuse to choose between raw alloy pop and modern two-piece feel. The barrel is the same battle-tested SFX alloy that made the one-piece Spec A1 famous, with special engineering that creates a longer barrel and a bigger sweet spot than any other one-piece alloy on the market. The handle side is where the hybrid magic happens: a premium SpeedFlex composite handle joined to the barrel through Combat's MFG Triple Flex connection, delivering the smooth flex, vibration dampening, and reduced sting that two-piece loyalists demand, without giving up an ounce of the barrel performance Combat is known for.

The swing profile is dialed for damage. The Spec H1 carries a slight end-load wrapped inside a balanced overall profile, giving power hitters the extra leverage and whip they crave through the zone while keeping the bat quick enough to turn on high-velocity inside pitches. An Aero Precision end cap and knob package rounds out the build, and every H1 ships pre-wrapped with Combat's Clinch Spec Grip, which brings extra tack and just the right amount of cushion for all-day comfort in the box. And then there's the sound. Combat's alloy barrels produce an unmistakable crack at contact that turns heads all over the complex. Backed by a one year manufacturer's warranty, the Coastal SND is built to survive elite high school and summer ball workloads.

QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a Heat Rolled bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process!

QUESTION: What's the difference between the Spec H1 and the Spec A1?
ANSWER: Construction. The Spec A1 is Combat's one-piece alloy bat with a stiff, connected feel and instant feedback. The Spec H1 takes that same proven SFX alloy barrel and pairs it with a composite handle in a two-piece hybrid design, giving you more flex, a smoother feel through the zone, and noticeably less vibration on mishits. If you like traditional stiff alloy feedback, go A1. If you want alloy pop with two-piece comfort, the H1 is your bat.

QUESTION: Is the Spec H1 balanced or end loaded?
ANSWER: Both, in a sense. Combat tuned the H1 with a slight end-load wrapped inside a balanced overall swing profile. You get the extra leverage and plate-side whip that power hitters want at contact, but the bat stays quick and controllable enough to catch up to velocity and handle inside pitches. It sits between a true balanced bat and a heavy end-loaded power profile.
