Shipping Policy
Here at LongballBats.com, our friendly, knowledgeable staff strives to ship things as quickly and reliably as possible to you, even if you opt for free shipping (or free return shipping) during checkout.
For everything we sell:
- Shipping cutoff time: 1pm EST.
- Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays are not considered business days.
- Once your order is shipped, you'll be provided with a tracking number via email.
- All items ordered with free shipping (which is available only to the Continental USA) are shipped via USPS, UPS or FedEx (cheapest method available to your address) unless you pay for upgraded shipping during checkout. If you have a preference, you can mention it in your order notes, but we cannot guarantee that all requests will be granted.
For Bats:
- BRAND NEW BATS purchased without our ProMAX Heat Rolling/Break-In Service typically ship in 1-2 business days.
- BRAND NEW BATS purchased with our ProMAX Heat Rolling/Break-In Service typically ship in 2-4 business days. Any upgraded shipping you pay for during checkout does not eliminate or speed up the 2-4 business day shipping window.
- BRAND NEW BATS purchased with our ProMAX Heat Rolling/Break-In Service AND Front of the Line Upgrade typically ship on the next business day. If you're in a major hurry and shipping timeline could be a dealbreaker, call us (help us help you!)
- BATS SENT IN for our ProMAX Heat Rolling/Break-In Service are typically shipped back to you the next business day after they are received (24 hour turnaround time.) Any upgraded shipping you pay for during checkout applies to the return shipping method and does not eliminate or speed up the 24 hour turnaround time.
For Gloves:
- BRAND NEW GLOVES purchased without our GameREADY Break-In Service typically ship in 1-2 business days.
- BRAND NEW GLOVES purchased with our GameREADY Break-In Service typically ship in 2-4 business days. Any upgraded shipping you pay for during checkout does not eliminate or speed up the 2-4 business day shipping window.
- BRAND NEW GLOVES purchased with our GameREADY Break-In Service AND Front of the Line Upgrade ship as quickly as possible, timelines vary based on how long the glove takes to get perfect. If you're in a major hurry and shipping timeline could be a dealbreaker, call us (help us help you!)
- GLOVES SENT IN for our GameREADY Break-In Service are typically shipped back to you in 2-3 business days after they are received. Any upgraded shipping you pay for during checkout applies to the return shipping method and does not eliminate or speed up the 24 hour turnaround time.
In every instance, we prioritize the quality of our work over the speed of our work and we will not sacrifice that quality for any reason, including requests for immediate shipping.
Signature Requirement/Package Theft Policy
The packages we ship are often shaped like bats and our company name is on the return address, so our packages are popular targets for thieves and/or "porch pirates" (people who steal packages left outside of their destination.) We are not responsible for any packages misdelivered or stolen from your location after delivery occurs. During checkout, you'll be able to opt for a signature requirement on your shipment and we highly recommend that you do so. If you choose not to opt for a signature requirement on your shipment, you take full responsibility for the package after the courier marks it as delivered.
Order Cancellation Policy
While we understand that order cancellations are sometimes necessary, card processors are no longer refunding the fees they charge as part of the refund. Therefore, as of 09/08/2021, we have to enact an order cancellation policy to protect ourselves from this exposure.
- Orders canceled prior to shipping at no fault of ours, but solely at the fault of the purchaser, will be refunded in full less a 5% order cancellation fee. Example: orders placed by mistake, changed mind after purchase, etc.
- Once a transaction is 180 days old, it is considered to be final and cannot be canceled or refunded.
If you'd like to get around the 5% fee, you can opt to have your refund issued in the form of In-Store Credit with us instead of refunding it back to your original method of payment. In-Store Credit will be automatically applied to future orders with us and it never expires.
Returns Policy
We strive to be as friendly and understanding as possible when it comes to returns, but due to the nature of the work we do, our options are very limited.
- BRAND NEW BATS & GLOVES purchased from us without any Break-In Process can be returned to us within 30 days of delivery for a refund or in-store credit less a 20% restocking fee. The bat or glove must be returned new (still "in the wrapper"), unused, and in the original packaging that you received it in. If your bat is not received in resalable condition, your return will not be accepted.
- BRAND NEW BATS & GLOVES purchased from us with our Break-In Process cannot be returned or exchanged, however we do have a satisfaction guarantee that entitles you to ship your bat or glove back to us for inspection. Contact us for details about our satisfaction guarantee.
- OTHER BRAND NEW items purchased from us (ie Pocket Radars, baseballs, etc) can be returned to us within 30 days of delivery for a refund or in-store credit less a 20% restocking fee. The item(s) must be returned new, unused, and in the original packaging that you received it in. If your item(s) are not received in resalable condition, your return will not be accepted.
- We cannot accept any returns on any items that have been customized or special ordered.
Returns will be processed within 3 business days of their receipt at our facility.
