ANSWER: It just depends on how quickly you need it. This RARE FIND Bat is ready to ship and will generally ship same day if ordered before 1PM EST. Our free shipping method is just the cheapest method available to your address, which is usually a 2-6 day transit time but is NOT guaranteed. The upgrade options specify their transit times. UPS 2 Day Air and/or UPS Next Day Air are popular options for customers needing a bat quickly.
QUESTION: Why is this bat priced higher than retail?
ANSWER: Since limited edition and highly sought after bats are often are next to impossible to get, there are times that we're willing to pay higher than retail prices for them in the secondary market so that we're able to make them available to our customers. QUESTION: How is the Cookie Monster different from the other Cookie Jar Spec A1 bats?
ANSWER: Flavor only. Combat's 2026 Cookie Jar drop included four Spec A1 colorways: the blue Cookie Monster, the cream and pink Cookies N Cream, the Mint Chip, and the Crumb Reaper. All four are built on the identical Spec A1 platform with SFX Barrel Technology, a balanced swing weight, and the Clinch Spec Grip, and each was a limited release. They swing and hit the same, so the choice comes down to which one you want to see in the on-deck circle. QUESTION: Is the Cookie Monster balanced or end loaded?
ANSWER: Balanced. Combat lists the Cookie Monster with a balanced swing weight, the same as every Spec A1, and that's how it plays: quick through the zone with a big barrel that doesn't feel heavy out front. You may run across a reseller listing that calls it end loaded, but that's a data-entry error, not a different bat. The Spec A1's whole reputation is built on being a one-piece alloy that swings fast and still hits with authority, and the Cookie Monster is no exception.
QUESTION: Can I use the Cookie Monster in college baseball?
ANSWER: Yes. The Cookie Monster is BBCOR .50 certified and approved for NFHS high school, NCAA, and NJCAA play. College bat color rules are aimed at barrels that could blend in with the ball, which is why Combat's orange Rodeo "Greatest Show on Dirt" is high school only. A bright blue barrel doesn't run into that problem, and we're happy to confirm the league eligibility of the Cookie Monster for both high school and college.
