TL;DR Anarchy's Day of the Dead bat: black with orange Dia de Muertos script and sugar skulls. Two-piece composite, 13 in KCM-6X barrel, half ounce end load. USSSA and NSA, not USA/ASA. For power hitters who want forgiveness. 25-27 oz. Add our ProMAX Heat Roll for maximum performance.

Anarchy has never been shy about its graphics, and this one might be the best of the bunch! The 2026 Anarchy Dia De Los Muertos, model ASPDIA26U, is a two-piece composite USSSA bat dressed for the Day of the Dead. The barrel is black, with “Día de Muertos” running down it in bright orange script. Sky blue splashes and pink pattern lines fill in around the lettering. Down on the taper, a band of white sugar skulls wraps the bat, and the handle is solid black with Anarchy’s “A” logos. It looks like nothing else in the dugout! Under the paint, it’s a power hitter’s setup: a full 13 inch barrel, a half ounce end load, and Anarchy’s KCM-6X barrel technology. That’s a lot of hitting surface with a little extra weight out front, which is a combination most strong USSSA hitters like. If you play USA/ASA ball too, Anarchy makes a Dia De Los Muertos in a USA version with its own barrel tech.

The 13 inch barrel is the first thing doing work for you here. A longer barrel gives you more room to miss and still hit it hard. Catch one an inch off the end and it still carries. The barrel is built on KCM-6X, the composite platform Anarchy uses for its current USSSA barrels. It’s designed around today’s USSSA 240 standard and has a lively, responsive feel at contact. The half ounce end load adds mass toward the end of the barrel. That gives you more momentum through the zone and more push at contact. It’s the lighter of the common slowpitch loads, so the bat doesn’t feel sluggish. The two-piece build matters too. The barrel and handle work independently through contact, so the swing feels smoother and mishits don’t ring your hands like they would on a one-piece. Anarchy finishes it with a comfortable, textured grip. The barrel is 2-1/4 inches. It’s USSSA certified, and Anarchy lists it as NSA approved as well. It is not approved for USA Softball (ASA). Available in 34 inch lengths at 25, 26, and 27 ounces, with Anarchy’s one year manufacturer warranty.

Anarchy puts out a lot of bats, and many of them share the same specs under very different paint. So the real question is usually which barrel length and load fit your swing. That’s where we come in! QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a Heat Rolled bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process!

QUESTION: What’s the difference between the USSSA and USA versions of the Dia De Los Muertos?
ANSWER: The barrel inside, and the stamp on the taper. Both are two-piece composites with a 13 inch barrel, a half ounce end load, and 25 to 27 ounce weights. But USSSA and USA Softball test bats to different standards, so Anarchy builds a different barrel for each. This USSSA version (ASPDIA26U) uses Anarchy’s KCM-6X technology. The USA version (ASPDIA26A) uses Anarchy’s X-Core 2 technology, built for the USA Softball standard. You can’t swap them. The USSSA bat won’t pass a bat check in a USA league, and the USA bat isn’t stamped for USSSA. If you play in both, you’ll need one of each. The good news is they look the part either way, so your two-bat bag still matches.

QUESTION: Who should swing a 13 inch half ounce end load?
ANSWER: A hitter with solid bat speed who wants forgiveness and a little extra carry. The 13 inch barrel is about as long as USSSA slowpitch bats get, so you have a lot of room for error. The half ounce load puts a bit more mass behind the ball without making the bat feel slow. That’s a great fit for a gap-to-gap power hitter, or a strong hitter moving from a balanced bat toward something with more punch. If you want even more weight out front, the Anarchy Temptation carries a three-quarter ounce load on a 13 inch barrel. If you’d rather keep it quick and even, the Anarchy Groovy is a balanced 13 inch option. If you’re not sure, call us and tell us what you swing now. We’ll point you the right way!

QUESTION: Should I get a one-piece or a two-piece Anarchy?
ANSWER: It depends on how much you want to feel the ball. Anarchy makes both. A one-piece, like the Anarchy Bloodline, is stiff and direct. Energy goes straight from your hands to the ball, and you’ll know exactly where you hit it. You’ll also know when you miss. A two-piece like the Dia De Los Muertos lets the handle and barrel work separately at contact. That gives you a smoother, whippier feel and takes most of the sting out of mishits. Hitters who square it up every time and like instant feedback often prefer one-piece. Hitters who want a forgiving, comfortable swing over a long tournament weekend usually like two-piece. With a 13 inch barrel and a half ounce load, the Dia De Los Muertos leans toward forgiveness, which is what a lot of players want.

QUESTION: Which weight should I buy, 25, 26, or 27?
ANSWER: Go one notch lighter than you would in a balanced bat. Because of the end load, a 26 ounce Dia De Los Muertos swings a little heavier than a 26 ounce balanced bat. A 13 inch barrel adds to that too, since more of the weight sits farther from your hands. The 25 is for hitters who want the long barrel but need to keep their bat speed up. The 26 is where most strong USSSA hitters land. The 27 is for big hitters who’ve swung heavy end-loaded bats for years and still get them through the zone on time. A simple test: pick the weight you can swing at full speed in your last game of the day, not the heaviest one you can swing fresh. If you’re between two weights, take the lighter one.
