The Hellfire Club is the Anarchy for the hitter who wants the end of the bat to do some damage. The 2026 Anarchy Hellfire Club USA/ASA, model ASPHFIR26A, puts a three-quarter ounce end load on a compact 12 inch barrel. That’s more weight out front than most USA bats carry, packed into a short, tight hitting zone. It’s a two-piece composite built on Anarchy’s X-Core 2 barrel for USA Softball play. The look is just as loud! The whole bat wears a white, crumpled-paper finish, like a page torn out of a notebook. “Hellfire Club” runs down the barrel in heavy black lettering. Hand-drawn tabletop dice are doodled across the taper and end cap. Flip it over and there’s a red demon with flames licking up the barrel. If you play USSSA too, Anarchy makes a Hellfire Club USSSA with the same barrel length and load. And if three-quarters is more load than you want, the Anarchy Dia De Los Muertos USA carries a lighter half ounce on a 13 inch barrel.
Here’s what that combination does for you: a 12 inch barrel keeps the mass closer to your hands than a 13 inch would, so even with a three-quarter ounce load, the bat doesn’t feel long or lazy. It feels like a hammer! The load itself is the point. More weight toward the end of the barrel means more momentum through the zone and more force behind the ball when you square it up. In USA ball, where every bat has to stay under the same performance limit, that mass is one of the few edges you can actually choose. The two-piece build helps you manage it. The barrel and handle work on their own at contact, so the swing feels smooth and a mishit doesn’t buzz your hands. Anarchy’s X-Core 2 barrel is designed for USA Softball play, with a lively, responsive feel when you catch one. The barrel is 2-1/4 inches. It’s certified for USA Softball (ASA) play and is not approved for USSSA. Available in 34 inch lengths at 25, 26, and 27 ounces, with Anarchy’s one year manufacturer warranty.

QUESTION: How heavy does a three-quarter ounce end load feel?
ANSWER: Noticeably heavier than a half ounce, but not as demanding as a full ounce. Anarchy’s USA lineup makes this easy to picture. The Dia De Los Muertos USA carries a half ounce, so it swings close to its listed weight with a little extra push. The Fresh USA carries a full ounce, which is about as much load as a USA bat gets. The Hellfire Club sits right between them. At the same listed weight, it swings a bit heavier than the Dia and a bit lighter than the Fresh. Because it’s on a 12 inch barrel, that weight stays tucked closer to your hands than it would on a 13. Most hitters describe it as a heavy but controllable swing. If you’ve been swinging a half ounce bat comfortably and want more, this is a natural next step.
QUESTION: Who should swing the Hellfire Club?
ANSWER: A strong hitter who’s already on time and wants more behind the ball. The heavier load rewards bat speed. If you get the barrel there, it pays you back with carry. If you’re late, it makes you later. So this is a bat for power hitters, middle-of-the-order bats, and players who already swing a half ounce load with room to spare. The 12 inch barrel suits hitters who find the barrel consistently, since there’s less hitting surface than a 13 inch. It’s not the best pick for a slap or contact hitter, or for anyone fighting to catch up to the pitch. Those hitters usually do better with a lighter load, like the Dia De Los Muertos USA, or a balanced bat. Not sure where you fit? Call us and tell us what you swing now!
QUESTION: Does a heavier end load help in USA Softball?
ANSWER: It can, and here’s why. USA Softball caps how hot a barrel can be, so every legal USA bat has the same ceiling. What you control is how close you get to it. Exit speed depends on how fast the barrel is moving and how much mass is behind it at contact. A heavier end load adds mass right where the ball meets the bat. If your bat speed stays up, that extra mass helps the ball jump. That’s why a lot of strong USA players like a three-quarter or full ounce load. The catch is that it only works if you can still swing it fast! A load that slows you down costs more than it adds. Pick the heaviest load you can swing at full speed in your last at-bat of the night, not your first.
QUESTION: Should I size down with the Hellfire Club?
ANSWER: Most hitters should go one ounce lighter than they would in a balanced bat. The three-quarter ounce load makes every Hellfire Club swing heavier than its listed weight. So if you swing a 27 ounce balanced bat now, the 26 Hellfire Club will feel closer to what you’re used to. If you swing a half ounce end loaded 26, you can usually stay at 26 or step down to 25 for the same feel. The 25 is for hitters who want this load but need to protect their bat speed. The 27 is for big hitters who’ve swung heavy end loads for years. If you’re stuck between two weights, take the lighter one. You’ll stay on time more often, and the end load will still put plenty of weight behind the ball.
