The 2027 DeMarini Ultimate Weapon Slowpitch Softball Bat features a 12-inch single-wall SC4 alloy barrel and one-piece construction, providing a firm, direct feel with traditional alloy feedback through contact.
The SC4 Alloy Barrel uses a single-wall design that makes the Ultimate Weapon a strong option for leagues that restrict play to single-wall bats. The compact 12" barrel provides controlled barrel movement through the zone, while the one-piece alloy construction creates a direct connection between the hands and hitting surface.
With no connection piece between the handle and barrel, the Ultimate Weapon maintains a rigid, responsive feel throughout the swing. Its multi-association certification also makes it a versatile option for players competing across different slowpitch organizations.
Finished in a black and red colorway, the Ultimate Weapon is manufactured in the USA and approved for USA Softball, USSSA, NSA, and ISA play.

QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a Heat Rolled bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process!
QUESTION: Is the Ultimate Weapon a single wall or multi wall bat?
ANSWER: Single wall. The 2025 Ultimate Weapon uses a one-piece SC4 alloy barrel with a single thin wall, and it contains no composite anywhere in the bat. That is the feature most buyers are looking for, because many rec, church, corporate, and senior leagues restrict players to single-wall alloy bats. If your league's rule reads "no multi-wall, no composite," the Ultimate Weapon qualifies. When in doubt, show your commissioner or umpire the bat before game day; the DeMarini certification stamps are printed on the barrel.
QUESTION: What leagues is the Ultimate Weapon legal in?
ANSWER: Almost all of them. It carries the USA Softball (ASA) 1.20 BPF stamp, the USSSA 240 stamp, and NSA and ISA approvals, which covers the vast majority of adult slowpitch leagues and tournaments in the country. The one place to double check is senior softball; some SSUSA sanctioned senior leagues require a Senior Softball stamp specifically, and this bat does not carry one, so confirm your league's rule if you play in a 50 and over or 60 and over program.
