When you break your bat in the "old fashioned way" (by hitting with it), balls hit different places on the barrel far more often than others. This leads to dead spots, or places where balls haven't hit as often. Dead spots cause inconsistent performance, even on solid hits. BUT WAIT, IS IT AGAINST THE RULES?
As far as legality goes: local leagues/tournaments often interpret national rules differently, so we can't/don't claim to be the rules experts of every sanction/city/locality. If you plan to use any bat that has been Heat Rolled in an officially sanctioned game, you should definitely check that specific sanction's rule book to make sure it is legal. Some rule books do specifically outlaw bat rolling by name - most use more ambiguous language, though, deeming "altering a bat" to be illegal. Since we don't add or remove any material from the bat, we don't consider our process to be altering. Of course, we'd never suggest or condone using a Heat Rolled bat in a game that deems it to be against the rules.

- PACKAGE YOUR BATS: Your local post office or UPS Store will have boxes that fit your bats if you don't have any. Print a copy of your order confirmation OR write a note referencing your order number and include it in the package.
- SHIP US YOUR BATS: You arrange and pay for shipping to us and we offer free shipping back to you as long as you're in the Continental USA (or you can pay for upgraded return shipping during checkout.) Make sure to include your order number in the package!

Your average and Home run total will thank you. I had my daughters fast pitch bat rolled. I am one of those that researches and researches before I do something or buy something. Well this is one of those somethings I wish I hadn’t of waited so long to do. My daughters bat has about half a season and some BP rounds on it. I felt as if it wasn’t preforming to its max. So I go and start researching what I could do to it. I have a slow pitch back ground. I wanted to do something legally and ethical utopia it to make it preform at its best. I came across LongballBats one day on Instagram. I am here to tell you I am so glad I came across these guys. After some text back and forth I meet Joey one day to give him my bat because turns out he is about 20 minutes down the road from me. 24 hour turn around as he stated. I meet him the next day and pick the bat up kind you with a fresh Spiderz bat grip on it that I highly recommend and pair it with some Spiderz batting gloves yours hands and average and long ball numbers will thank you. So after about ten days my daughter and I get to go to the field for some drill work. I was like a kid at Christmas waiting to see what was gonna happen. After the first pitch and trying to protect myself as best I could I New I had done the right thing. This bat now is a rocket launcher. It can preform at its max potential now. After some tee Work 3 rounds of BP this bat has made me a believer I know one thing I’ll take every bat from now on to Joey before it touches a softball. Needless to say it was like taking a knife to gun fight before the heat Roll now it is like taking a rocket launcher to gun fight you win you blow up everything. You will hit gas once you have your bat rolled and those walking track power balls that just hung up for long outs will become necks turning and watching where does that ball finally land at. Wish I had done it sooner. Trust me whe. I say your average and home Run totals will thank you and not to mention when you step into the box and they say this dude hits gas slide over back up be ready and it doesn’t matter what they do they want be ready for what comes off that bat and the juice it has behind it. I highly recommend having your bat rolled if you want to get use out of the money you ha e spent on your bat and we all know what bats cost these days. You will get your moneys worth on each and every swing and if it’s not you that smile your son or daughter has in their face time and time again when they are hitting seeds all over the field. Don’t wait any longer every day you waste or put off not having your bat rolled is a day your not getting better and using the tool you spent your money on and letting it preform at its max.
