The Inception is back, it's shiny, and this version hits like it has something to prove. The Anonymous METALLIC REISSUE INCEPTION APEX Load Senior Slowpitch Softball Bat brings back one of the original designs that helped build the Anonymous Athletics lineup, now dressed up in a premium metallic paint finish that looks fantastic in the sunlight. The good stuff underneath hasn't changed a bit. You still get the 13-inch barrel and one-piece composite construction that made players fall for the Inception the first time around.
The APEX Load is the heaviest hitter in the Metallic Reissue family, with a full one ounce end load that puts extra mass out in the barrel. That weight builds serious momentum through the zone, so when you square one up, the ball tends to keep going. It's a great match for stronger hitters and anyone who loves the feel of the barrel doing the work. The 13-inch barrel gives you a massive sweet spot to aim for, the stiff one-piece design sends energy straight into the ball, and SRT Tacky Barrel Technology adds a grippy surface that grabs the ball at contact. If a full ounce sounds like a bit much, the Metallic Reissue Inception Enhanced Load and the balanced Metallic Reissue Inception Neutral Load offer the same bat with a lighter swing.
The Metallic Reissue Inception APEX is made for senior slowpitch softball and is approved for SSUSA, USSSA (Senior), and ISA play. It comes in 25oz, 26oz, 27oz, and 28oz. When you order from LongballBats.com, you get free ground shipping to the Continental USA and a friendly team of bat performance experts who've been helping players find the right bat since 2016. QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use.
