The bat that put Anonymous Athletics on the map is back, and this time it showed up dressed for the occasion. The Anonymous METALLIC REISSUE INCEPTION Neutral Load Senior Slowpitch Softball Bat brings back the original Inception design that helped build the brand's lineup, now finished in a premium metallic paint that looks every bit as loud as the bat sounds. It's the same familiar platform senior players already trust, built around a 13-inch barrel and one-piece composite construction, with a fresh look that'll have your teammates asking to take a few swings.
On the field, the Neutral Load is the story. The balanced swing weight lets you get the barrel through the zone quickly and put it exactly where you want it, which is great news for hitters who make their living driving the gaps and using the whole field. The 13-inch barrel gives you a huge sweet spot to work with, and the one-piece design sends energy straight into the ball with the stiff, responsive feel that one-piece fans love. Anonymous also adds its SRT Tacky Barrel Technology, a grippy barrel surface that grabs the ball at contact for a better feel off the barrel.
The Metallic Reissue Inception Neutral is built for senior slowpitch and is approved for SSUSA, USSSA (Senior), and ISA play. It comes in 25oz, 26oz, 27oz, and 28oz, so there's a weight for just about every swing. When you order from LongballBats.com, you get free ground shipping to the Continental USA and a team of bat performance experts with more than 100 years of combined baseball and softball experience at your service. QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a Heat Rolled bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process!
QUESTION: Is the Anonymous Metallic Reissue Inception legal for USA/ASA or standard USSSA play?
ANSWER: No. This is a senior slowpitch bat, approved for SSUSA, USSSA (Senior), and ISA competition. It's not approved for USA/ASA or standard USSSA leagues, so check your league's rules before you buy. If you're confused at all, our friendly staff would love to answer any questions you may have and provide expert recommendations for you, as well! Just contact us.
QUESTION: What's the difference between the Neutral Load and the end loaded Inception models?
ANSWER: The Neutral Load is the balanced version, so the weight is spread evenly for faster bat speed and more barrel control. Anonymous also makes end loaded Inceptions, like the Enhanced Load with a half ounce end load or the APEX Load with a full ounce, for hitters who want extra mass behind the ball. If you're a line drive, gap to gap hitter, Neutral is your pick.
QUESTION: Does the Metallic Reissue Inception come with a warranty?
ANSWER: No. Like most high performance senior bats, it's sold without any warranty. Anonymous also says not to use it in temperatures below 60°F, so save it for warm weather and it'll treat you right (or use our "Pizza Delivery Bag" Dual Bat Warmer Package!)
