Good news, senior softball fans: the Inception is back, and it brought some shine with it! The Anonymous METALLIC REISSUE INCEPTION Enhanced Load Senior Slowpitch Softball Bat is a tribute to one of the original designs that helped put Anonymous Athletics on the map, now wearing a premium metallic paint job that's going to turn heads in the dugout. Under that fancy finish, it's the same platform players already know and love, with a 13-inch barrel and one-piece composite construction. Think of it as your favorite classic car with a fresh coat of paint and the same engine that made you fall for it in the first place.
So what does "Enhanced Load" mean for your swing? It's Anonymous's light end load, which puts a little extra weight out in the barrel to build momentum through the hitting zone. You get more mass behind the ball without the heavier feel of the brand's APEX Load, so you can still control the barrel and keep your bat speed up. It's a great fit for hitters who want some extra carry but still like to place the ball. If you'd rather swing a balanced bat, take a look at the Metallic Reissue Inception Neutral Load. Either way, you get a 13-inch barrel with a massive sweet spot, a stiff one-piece design that sends energy straight into the ball, and SRT Tacky Barrel Technology, a grippy barrel surface that grabs the ball at contact.
The Metallic Reissue Inception Enhanced is made for senior slowpitch softball and is approved for SSUSA, USSSA (Senior), and ISA play. It comes in 25oz, 26oz, 27oz, and 28oz. When you order from LongballBats.com, you get free ground shipping to the Continental USA and help from bat performance experts who've been doing this since 2016. Can't decide on a weight or a load? QUESTION: Should I order this bat stock/untouched or Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure?
ANSWER: If you order your new bat Heat Rolled with Progressive Pressure, it will be delivered to you completely and evenly broken in. This process adds 20-40ft of distance to your solid hits, increases consistency, improves durability and adds 2-3 business days of lead time to your order. If you plan to use the bat in an official game or event, please verify the legality of our process with your league or sanctioning body before use. We (LongballBats.com) do not encourage the use of a Heat Rolled bat in any game or event where it is against the rules. Click here for details about our process!
QUESTION: How much end load does the Anonymous Inception Enhanced Load have?
ANSWER: Anonymous lists the Enhanced Load on its Inception as a 1/2 oz end load. That's enough to feel a little extra weight in the barrel without making the bat hard to control. It's a nice middle ground between the balanced Neutral Load and the heavier APEX Load.
QUESTION: Is the Metallic Reissue Inception Enhanced legal for USA/ASA or standard USSSA play?
ANSWER: No. This is a senior bat, approved for SSUSA, USSSA (Senior), and ISA competition. If you play in a USA/ASA or standard USSSA league, you'll want to shop our slowpitch softball bats for a model that carries the right stamp. We've got a massive selection and, as always, our friendly experts would love to answer any questions you may have!
QUESTION: Does the Metallic Reissue Inception Enhanced come with a warranty?
ANSWER: No. Like most high performance senior bats, it's sold without any warranty. Anonymous also says not to use it in temperatures below 60°F, so keep it in the bag on those chilly mornings unless you're using our "Pizza Delivery Bag" Dual Bat Warmer Package!
